An elderly care app
The challenge was to ideate design and prototype an elderly care app in 50 hours. We had complete freedom to go anywhere form here.
Problem AREA
Elderly individuals often live alone or away from immediate family support, while their caregivers are geographically distant and lack real-time visibility into their health and well-being. This gap leads to delayed response, increased anxiety for families, and higher risks related to loneliness, neglect, and unnoticed health deterioration among seniors
Problem statement
The 35421987 Indians are living abroad which means their loved ones (age 60 and above) live on their own without their support.
To enable NRI’s to monitor and take care of their loved ones health and help them overcome social isolation and loneliness promoting healthy living. ”

I went through news articles and research papers to verify and the problem and to cater better to their needs.
Solution
The solution to these problems was a creating a main account that does all the heavy lifting of setting up the app with all the health monitoring devices, Along with a satellite devices that carries all the data and settings. This removes all the friction and hurdle of tech anxiety from the elder users.
Combined with activity tracker along with a medicine reminder.
